Abstract
48 Kunming mice were divided into 6 groups for control group, lead model group,EDTA group, low, medium, and high lycium barbarum polysaccharides(LBP) doses groups. The lead concentrations in blood, liver and femur and the activity of SOD in serum were detected at the 30th day.The results showed that the levels of blood lead, liver lead and femur lead were significantly decreased in poisoning mice exposed to LBP(p<0.05).At the same time, the activity of SOD was increased remarkably in LBP groups.LBP has a remarkable effect of lead-eliminating from lead-exposed rats.
