Abstract
The current development of the aptamer-based amperometric sensor for the determination of small molecule targets was reviewed. The targets were detected according to electrical current or resistance changes caused by the binding of target with the aptamer immobilizated onto the electrode surface and distance changes between the electroactive molecule and electrode, based on the principle of aptamer-based amparometric sensor. To improve the sensitivity and selectivity will be the future development direction of the aptamer-based amperometric sensor.
