Abstract
Utilizing the ANSYS software parametric design,flow field analysis of gas film between the spiral groove dry gas seal was analyzed by numerical simulation.The influence of the structure parameters of spiral groove,on opening force and gas film stiffness was studied with comprehensive consideration of the larger open gas membrane stiffness,strength calculation results showed that acting-ring structure parameters is suitable:spiral slot number Ng=15-17,spiral angle α=14°~20°,groove depth employed by Hg=5 μm,groove long dam longer than the γ=0.625~0.705,wide than machine slot δ=1.2~1.5.
