Abstract
The L-cysteine modified Au/Fe3O4 magnetic composite particles(LC-Au/Fe3O4) were synthesized and their adsorption properties for bovine serum albumin(BSA) were investigated. The obtained samples were characterized by UV-Vis spectrophotometer(UV-vis), X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), scanning electron microscope(SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM) and Zeta potential, respectively. The results showed that Fe3O4 of LC-Au/Fe3O4 has a spinel structure; its diameter was about 200 nm, and the particles showed good stability. The adsorption capacity of LCAu/Fe3O4 composite particles for BSA was 161.5 mg/g.
