Abstract
For the current virtual machine migration algorithm is likely to cause physical node load imbalance,high energy consumption,SLA violation rate and other issues,a new cloud computing based online migration algorithm was proposed.An online migration algorithm model and virtual machine loads assessment vector were built,according to the CPU utilization,memory utilization and bandwidth utilization for each physical node to determine migration timing, source physical nodes which needed to migrate and the target physical nodes.The simulation of environmental testing showed that the proposed algorithm in a virtual machine live migration could greatly improve load balancing of the physical nodes,and meanwhile reduce the SLA violation rate and cloud computing data center power consumption to a minimum.
