国外概念整合研究的新动态与趋势展望

  • 摘要: 概念整合既是认知语言学研究中的热点,也是认知语言学和其他学科领域研究的结合点。自21世纪初以来,国外概念整合研究既包括传统的6个方面的理论及其应用研究,也包括在认知语言学量化转向和社会转向的背景下概念整合与神经语言学和心理语言学研究、多模态和手语研究、数学和计算建模研究,以及与音乐作曲及其他学科领域的新兴交叉融合研究。这些研究成果揭示了人类的思维方式,也对更多的概念整合应用研究的开展起到了积极的示范、参考作用。同时,概念整合理论尚存在以下挑战:一是该理论尚不完备,二是能够展示整合运作机制的神经和心理测试方法尚不明确,三是人们尚未能够对概念整合进行算法编程。基于此,概念整合研究的未来发展路径和方向为:一是针对概念整合理论的不完备和遭到的质疑,继续改进和完善概念整合理论及其框架;二是揭示更多包括语言在内的人类生活种种现象和行为之“表”及其背后的概念整合之“里”的关系;三是探究概念整合运作的创造性,发掘概念整合的创造力;四是在人类概念化的层面探究概念整合运作的心理过程的描写及其验证方法;五是积极利用和开发生理、神经等技术手段窥探概念整合运作的生理、神经基础和机制;六是继续推进概念整合的算法编程(或计算建模)研究及其在现有的数学、音乐、设计、多模态等之外更多领域的研究和应用。
