Design and implementation of object placement algorithm based on online storage

  • A new object placement algorithm C-SIEVE was put forward.It can not only locate data object effectively,but also solves problems of object copies placement by discrete data algorithm.Experiments indicated that this algorithm was effective.It can accomplish efficient and balanced object mapping according to the load of storage devices,but also have a good performance for object recovery once there are invalid storage nodes.
