Stress analytical method research of 2D engine fan disk structure based on ANSYS

  • Typical three-wheel disk structure was chosen in order to improve the accuracy of the stress distribution of 2D finite element model of the engine fan disk. Three-wheel fan disk structure of 3D finite element modeling was completed by using ANSYS 12.0. And the three-wheel fan disk of 2D axisymmetric finite element model was established. The non axisymmetric load was decomposed into Fourier series. Solution of radial stress,circumferential stress and equivalent stress was done subsequently. Compared with typical 2D analysis load, 2D non axisymmetric load and 3D analysis load show that the stress distribution of 2D model applying the uniform load is far away from the stress distribution of 3D model, and the stress distribution of 2D model applying the non axisymmetric load was close to the stress distribution of 3D model. Compared with applying the uniform load, this method can improve the accuracy of the stress distribution of 2D finite element model of the engine fan disk.
