Focus on nutrition and health,innovation and development of marine food industry

  • With the development of the society and continuous improvement in living standards,the dietary pattern of people has changed significantly,followed by the increasing prevalence of the metabolic syndrome,including obesity,hyperglycemia,hyperlipidemia and hypertension.Moreover,the modern fast-paced lifestyle has driven the increase in the incidence of subtealth state and chronic disease,which leads to huge social burden.The marine food is considered as favovable food and heath-care sources due to the abundant bioactive peptides,functional lipids, polysaccharides,vitamins and minerals.Therefore,it is imperative to focus on the nutrition and health,explore the structure-activity relationship among the functional factors in marine food,clarify the potential molecular mechanisms,strengthen the research of relationship between nutrients and human health,promote the high value processing of marine food,innovate and develop the marine food industry so as to improve the life quality and health state of people.
